Why is U.S.A. still a superpower?

This is a question we hear very often. What is the secret of the American supremacy in the world? Why is America so long-lasting? The answer seems very simple. But the work done for building such a powerful country was very hard.

Now let's see how this country was formed...and how it reached to the power it has today. 

The history of the United States begins in 1776, when George Washington and other brave men proclaimed the independence of thirteen colonies from the English colonial yoke. It happened on the 4th of July 1776, when the Declaration of Independence was signed. This day became the country's national holiday.

This was the beginning of a path that led the new formed country to the status it has today. The country continued to grow....economically and in territory. New states were added to the Union. The country's economy started to grow and to flourish (today they confrount with an economical crisis too). But they weren't a military power yet. They became one only after World War II, during Franklin Delano Roosevelt's presidency.

Of course, the question is: How could they reach this level? How could they maintain so long at this high level?

The answer is given to us by the reality itself. Of course, if you look at all the work done by the Americans. First, the industrialization was made in a normal way, without terror and force, as it happened in Stalin's U.S.S.R. They have always had the newest technology. They have always had the best "brains" in the world. Why? Because they attracted immigrants from all the world. Not by force, but by the standard of living. A very high one, of course. Today, it is affected by the economical crisis, too. This is the second major crisis after th 1929-1933 recession, started with "The Black Friday" of Wall Street on the 24th of October 1929.

 The conclusion is: Nothing was made by force in the U.S.A. Everything was made for the good of the people, not for the egos of some leaders, like U.S.S.R. did under Stalin's leadership. Maybe that is the secret of the long-lasting American domination over the world. That might be the secret, because nothing can last when it is made by force. The Empires of the world (The Roman Empire, The Habsburgic Empire, Austria-Hungary, The Ottoman Empire, The Czarist Empire, U.S.S.R., Yugoslavia, and so on)  can bear testimony to these words.
